Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail Jeep Tour

All Suggested Jeep Tours Are “Self Guided Tours”

Just a short distance from our Gatlinburg Jeep rental location, is a fantastic little place to tour.  Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trails is a fantastic adventure, for your family. In fact during the springtime it is one of my very favorite places.. It is amazing that the beauty of the Smoky Mountains National park is literally minutes from town.  If you get a chance there are a couple MUST DOs on this trip.

A Must Visit, the Noah “Bud” Ogle Cabin

#1 is a visit to the Noah “Bud” Ogle Cabin, WOW what an amazing homestead, make sure to wear appropriate shoes.  The terrain is not hard to navigate but you want to be comfortable. Bring a camera for sure, there are many photo opportunities on this walking trail.

#2 is a visit to Rainbow Falls, again you will want to make sure that you are dress appropriately for the season, be sure to always carry a bottle of water on your hikes, you do not want to get dehydrated. Planning your hike, info from GSNMP – “Between trailhead and falls, Rainbow Falls Trail gains about 1,500′ in elevation. The 5.4 mile round trip hike is considered moderate in difficulty. The Rainbow Falls Trail continues for approximately 4 miles beyond the falls to the summit of Mount Le Conte.”
